Standard length vs. custom length

Presets are the quickest pick. But if your designs add up to, say, 70" of sheet, you don't have to jump to the next preset and pay for space you won't use — choose Custom Length and enter anything from 24" to 240". It's priced on a sliding scale between the presets, so you only pay for the length you actually use.

Rotate to fill the width

The sheet is 22" wide. A design that's wider than it is tall often fits more copies across if you rotate it 90°. The builder has a rotate button and a 90° snap, so you can test both orientations in seconds.

Nest odd shapes together

Leave a little breathing room, then tuck small designs into the gaps around larger ones. A thin, consistent gap between designs keeps the cut clean without wasting film. The builder keeps a small no-print margin around the edges and flags any designs placed too close together before you check out.

Let the builder pack it for you

Printing lots of the same design? Use Fill Row to pack a single row edge to edge, or Fill Sheet to auto-place the maximum number of copies that fit — it does the math and centers the block for you. Then round out any empty space by hand with other designs.

Check design size before filling your sheet

Choose the finished print size for your garment before duplicating a design to fill the sheet. Packing more copies is only useful if each copy is the size you need.

1. Set the size in inches. Select a design in the gang sheet builder and use Width (in) or Height (in). Keep Lock aspect ratio checked to change one dimension without stretching the design.
2. Check the artwork before making copies. Review any soft-edge warning. If the softness is not an intentional glow or shadow, look for the original artwork rather than enlarging a small copy. A higher export DPI cannot restore missing detail.
3. Check the background. Use a transparent PNG when you do not want a printed background. Any opaque white or colored background prints along with the design.
4. Then arrange your copies. Use Fill Row or Fill Sheet after setting the design size, and review the layout before ordering.
