Everything you need to know before uploading artwork to the gang sheet builder: file type, background, and resolution.
Upload PNG or JPG files directly in the builder. There's no separate export or conversion step. Whatever format your design software saves, drop it in.
A transparent PNG lets your design sit cleanly on the film with nothing printed around it. Anything opaque, including a plain white background, prints as a solid block behind your design, which is rarely what you want on a DTF transfer. If your file doesn't have transparency, the builder flags it and can remove a white background for you automatically, so you're not stuck reworking the file in another program first.
The builder tries 300 DPI first and can step down to 150 DPI when your device or upload size limits require it. Larger sheets may need a lower export resolution; if your device cannot render the sheet at 150 DPI, the builder asks you to use a smaller sheet or a more capable device. Start with the highest-resolution version of your artwork you have. A higher export DPI cannot restore detail missing from the original image.
There's no fixed limit. It depends on how large each design is and how tightly they're arranged. Small logos at a few inches each can fit dozens per sheet; full-back prints take up most of a 22"×24" sheet on their own.
